While there are many reputable funeral homes in the area, the cost of cremation or funeral services at Louisville funeral homes can greatly vary. We believe in providing an overview of our services so that families understand what they are purchasing and there are no hidden fees or surprises. We understand that funeral costs are important to families and strive to provide you with the most value at an affordable price.

Affordable Funeral Services Pricing

Professional Services

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff
In order to provide the finest service possible, we maintain a staff of trained, experienced and appropriately licensed personnel 24 hours a day. Our staff performs the many duties termed "professional services" which include but are not limited to the following: 

  • consultations with persons making arrangements
  • direction and supervisionof all neccesary details for the completion of any and all reasonable requests made by the family.
  • we also provide administrative, secretarial services, file and secure death certificate, floral handling and staffing services prior to, during and following the funeral

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Care of The Deceased

Embalming
Except in certain speacial cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be neccessary, however you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming is required for a public viewing or entombment in mausoleum.

Montage

Two unframed 18" x 24" custom montages and four DVDs are availabe to all families.

  • Families shall provide no more than 30 photos 24 hours prior to visitation
  • Additional 18" x 24" unframed montages (same as original montage) are available at $59 each
  • Custom framing (cherry or gold frame) is available at $150 per montage.
  • Mailing of unframed montages can be provided at $15 per montage.
  • Additional DVDs may be purchased at a cost of $12 per copy

Forwarding of Deceased to Another Funeral Home

  • This charge includes local tansfer od deceased, minimal services of staff, neccessary authorizations, embalming and local trsansportation.   Excludes shiping charges or staff for visitations.

  • This charge includes minimal services of staff, local transportation to funeral home and casket coach (local) to cemetery or crematory. Excludes visitation and funeral ceremony.

Payment Policy: On all funerals and cremations that are prefunded, we kindly request full payment prior to service. We offer a 2% discount on our charges ( side A of contract ) if full payment by cash or check is received prior to funeral. We will accept an insurance assignment to cover the full balance, but please understand this is handled by a third party and they charge a 3% fee of the total cost of the funeral or a minimum charge of $175. This fee will be added to your total.
