I just learned of Mike's passing a few minutes ago. I hope that you will still get this message, as I want to let you all know how much respect my family always had for Mike. He handled several cases for us over the years, always with care and professionalism, and offered me some great advice for starting my legal career. I just learned of Mike's passing. It was an honor to have hired, known and worked with Mike in the Jefferson County Attorney's Office. My prayers will be offered, tonight, for Mike and his family -- you have much to be proud of -- while he left us far too soon, he still bequeathed a wonderful set of memories and love for all who knew him.

My heartfelt condolences to Michael's family. Losing a loved one to death is one of the hardest things to deal with in life. May you find strength and comfort in each other but most of all in Jehovah God and his promises to end all sickness and death and restore life by means of a resurrection. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) Until that day comes it is my hope that you will draw comfort from the words found at Jeremiah 29:11, 12. There, we are assured that when we pray to Jehovah, he will listen.
