Oh, sons and daughters of Margene, so sad to open my email to this sadness. I know your mom solely from church and Book Club. I loved her hospitality, home, stories of raising you, with her beloved husband, her grands, and genuine feeling of friendship I felt each time, I joined her book club (which has been very infrequently through the last years). I will so miss her!

I met Margene through our American Red Cross blood drives at St. Bernadette. Margene was always so thoughtful to give up several hours of her time on the mornings of our drives, and was always so warm and friendly to all of our donors and to me, the volunteer coordinator. I can appreciate how much she was loved and will be missed by her family and friends. My heartfelt condolences to each of you.
