Dr Riddle is the most intelligent man that I have ever known. Working by his side he taught me more in 1 year than I had learned in 10 years of nursing. He was a great friend and role model and the world of medicine will never be the same without him.

Years ago, being a new grad nurse at Frankfort Regional, talking to Dr Riddle scared me! But then I got to know him and realized just how intelligent and how caring he was to his patients. I remember Dr. Riddle showing us his karate moves right in front of the nurses' station in the hallway at Frankfort Regional Medical Center! It brings a smile to my face just thinking about it! A life taken too soon from his family; find peace knowing that he is up in Heaven.

Trish: Though I don't know if we ever met, I have such fond memories of Steve as a youngster and young man during the years when I was a close friend of Lawrence and Mary Jane. Like his brother, Mark, Steve was brought up to be friendly, polite modest and charming by his parents and was a delight to know. I was so saddened to hear about his passing. Such a loss! Dr. Riddle was an amazing doctor. He was my dr after a horrible car accident when he was an intern. I was at a bad point in my life and without his encouragement I don't know how I would have made it. I was a couple of days away from being able to finally thank him. I knew Steve while growing up on Cabin Way. He was a great guy. He use to have a work-out room in a condo down on MockingBird Valley. He would always let me come on over whenever I wanted to use his "gym." I am very sad to hear about his death. The Sams family in California is praying for you. Alex Sams
