To the Van Bakels. It is with great sadness that we learned of the loss of your mom. I am the oldest son of Ed and Joanne(Van Bakel) Van Thiel. I was so fortunate a number of years back to see your mom and dad in Louisville along with Valerie and got to see Diane years earlier. I often think back to the days when you lived in Little Chute. Your mom had her hands full! But Aunt Terry always seemed to take things in stride. And no matter what she did or what happened, her quick easy smile would appear on her face! And I just loved her southern accent! It warmed my heart!

Dear Vanbakel Family, My name is Jeff and I am a friend of Keith. We have served together in the Army in Korea and Arizona. He has always been a good friend and has always been there for me. I recently lost my son to a car crash and Keith showed up out of nowhere to give his support and stand by me. So even though I have not met any of you, I know you all must be very special people that anyone should be privileged to know. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you.
