Chase, you were an amazing man who always brought light and life into any situation. I am deeply saddened by your passing, but am so grateful to have been lucky enough to call such a phenomenal man, my friend. Thank you for your extraordinary friendship. My sincerest condolences to the family.

I was working at Golds Gum during this time maybe 2005-2007ish and a buddy of mine picked me up and we headed over to his friends apartment, it was winter and cold outside. I walk into his friends apartment and who do I see playing Rockband and singing, Chase! I had no idea he was there or that my buddy knew him. We hugged and laughed about it, Chase had a infectious laugh, you could tell it came from the soul and was always special. We set and talked and then Chase being the multitalented person he always was sits at the drums (Rockband is a video game that came with a guitar, microphone and drums in case you have no clue of what I'm talking about lol) So Chase sits at the drums and puts the difficulty level on expert, grabs the drumsticks and then takes the microphone and shoves it between his face and shoulder 😭 and begins to play the drums and sing Beastie Boys "Sabotage", and he pulled it of of course, we laughed and I was just amazed at how he could make something so difficult seem like a walk in the park. Im going to miss every fiber of his soul, I regret we didn't talk as much as we should. Chase was the embodiment of a good man and a loving soul. I miss his hugs and kiss on the cheek. Love you Cuz

Chase was the first friend I made when I moved to Louisville. When we met, I was immediately aware of his gigantic presence and drawn in by his infectious smile and laughter. He was the most genuine person I have ever met and had a compelling habit of turning friends into family. He taught me so much in the short time that I've known him. I'm happy for the time we spent together. I will miss him deeply. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends. I hope you know how much he meant to everyone who met him and I can surely say that we are all proud to say that that we did.

My condolences to the Family and friends. I met Chase almost 10 years ago, yet never face to face, But we were instant friends. Chase had an infectious presence about him and he was an all around good guy. I'm in awe at his passing and sending prayers to his loved ones.

Chase. My brother from another mother. The number of times we weep will come nowhere close to how often you made us smile. Right now our hearts hurt. Our eyes are filled with tears. But our memories of you will forever remain happy. Thank you for everything you are. Thank you for bringing so many together. Thank you for being a best friend to every friend. Mickey and I are so sorry about this sudden death. I never knew Chase well but I know he will be missed by all of his family. I see those Shelton eyes in the picture on here. WE love our Shelton cousins so much. Prayers for peace and comfort for his Moma, his sisters and brothers, his entire family.
