Obituary for Bob B. Sebree

Bob B. Sebree
SEBREE,
Bob B., 91 of Louisville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19 following a brief stay at the Hosparus In-patient Center.
Bob was born September 5, 1926 to Howard and Ella Mae Sebree. He lived his life as a faithful Christian and was an active member of the Taylorsville Road church of Christ. Bob was part of the Greatest Generation, a Navy veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II. Most of his work life was spent in banking and accounting. Even in his last days he could add a column of figures in his head more quickly than most people could find the calculator on their phone. He loved the Lord, his family and doing genealogy research.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Mildred Sebree, his beloved grandson Grey Sebree, his brother Charlie Sebree and sisters-in-law Martha and Scottie Sebree.
Left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Debbie Sebree, his brother Karl Mason Sebree, nephew Charles “Skip” Sebree (Linda), niece Karen Barnes (Wayne) and a number of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who loved him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24 from 1-7 p.m. at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25 at Highlands followed by a private burial.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Grey Sebree Endowed Scholarship Fund at Walden School 4238 Westport Rd., Louisville, KY 40207 or to a charity of your choice.
